International Quilt Study Center and Museum

I'm pretty excited that this quilt was accepted into a juried exhibit at the International Quilt Study Center and Museum in Lincoln, NE. It will be on display as part of the Passages Exhibit from April 18 - April 30, 2017.

"Strait of Georgia From Thetis Island" (20" x 40") was inspired by a photo I took while on vacation in the pacific northwest. The sky and water are dye-painted, the individual elements are raw-edge appliqué using cotton fabric.

The "Passages" exhibit will travel to the following venues:

September 1 to October 30th, 2017 - LeMars Art Council, LeMars, Iowa

December 1 to December 30th, 2017 - Scottsbluff Art Council, Scottsbluff, NE

February 1 to March 4, 2018 - Gallery 92, Freemont, NE

September 1 to September 29, 2018 - Beatrice Library, Beatrice, NE
